What we know about ANANTA
No character gacha
NetEase has confirmed that every playable character is unlocked through the story at no cost. Paid content is limited to cosmetics such as outfits, vehicle skins and home decoration.
Brawler combat, not elemental reactions
The stated references are Batman: Arkham and Sleeping Dogs. Dodging and blocking open counters, enemies can be disarmed, and chairs, bins, golf clubs and parked cars can all be used as weapons.
A squad of four, swapped mid-fight
You field four characters and switch between them during major fights. Each one also moves differently, so the squad is a traversal choice as much as a combat one.
Movement with no stamina bar
Parkour, climbing, swinging and swimming are unrestricted. Wingsuits, motorcycles and speedboats have all been shown.
Two cities so far
Nova City is a dense modern metropolis. Lingyun City, in the Chongxiao region, was revealed at gamescom 2026. NetEase describes the cities as inspired by Shanghai, Hangzhou and Tokyo.
