HoYoverse has confirmed PC, iOS and Android. No console version has ever been announced, and the test history explains why that is not the same as a no.
The short answer: PC, iOS and Android are confirmed. Nothing else is.
That is the entire official position, and it has not moved since the game was revealed in August 2025.
What is confirmed
| Platform | Status |
|---|---|
| PC | Confirmed |
| iOS and iPadOS | Confirmed |
| Android | Confirmed |
| PlayStation 5 | Never announced |
| Xbox Series X and S | Never announced |
| Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 | Never announced |
The system requirements page covers what each of the confirmed platforms actually asks for, using the figures published for the test build.
What the test history adds
Two closed tests have run, and their platform lists are a useful signal because a studio tests where it intends to ship:
- Nexus Bond Test, 17 to 23 September 2025: PC and iOS only, with no Android build at all.
- Evolution Test, 9 to 27 July 2026: PC, Android and iOS.
Between the two, Android arrived. No console build appeared in either. That is not proof a console version does not exist somewhere, but a platform usually shows up in testing before it shows up in a launch announcement.
Why “never announced” is not “never”
HoYoverse has a pattern worth knowing, and it cuts both ways.
Genshin Impact launched on PlayStation and arrived on PlayStation 5 later. Honkai: Star Rail launched on PC and mobile, then came to PlayStation 5 about six months afterwards. Zenless Zone Zero shipped on PlayStation 5 at launch.
So the studio clearly does console, and often after the fact. What it has not done for this game is say so. Any site telling you Nexus Anima is coming to PlayStation, with or without a window, is extrapolating from that pattern, not reporting an announcement.
Nintendo is the harder case. HoYoverse has never released a mainline title on a Nintendo platform, so a Switch 2 version would be a first rather than a repeat.
What would need to happen first
A console version realistically needs the game to ship at all, and no release date has been announced. The sequence for a HoYoverse title has consistently been: closed tests, then a launch on PC and mobile, then a console version if the game performs.
That makes a console announcement before launch unlikely, and it makes one afterwards plausible. Neither is news until the studio says it.
How this page is kept
The platform list comes from HoYoverse’s own material and from coverage of both tests. If a console version is announced, it appears in the news feed with its source and its reliability label the same day, and this page changes with it.
Until then, the table above is the whole truth: three platforms, and a blank space where the console line would be.
